DoubleDragon’s subsidiary, Hotel101 Global, is gearing up to launch a new hotel in Madrid, Spain. Nestled on 6,593 square meters of prime land, this upcoming property promises to be a significant addition to the Spanish capital. Watch this episode of "Biz Talk!" as we chat with Carlo Paguio, Hotel 101 Global's Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships EMEA, about what we can expect from their vibrant new hotel in the heart of Madrid.

Located on Avenida Fuerzas Armadas in Valdebebas, the Hotel101-Madrid site is surrounded by notable landmarks. It's just a 3-minute walk from the Valdebebas Train Station, 4 minutes from the IFEMA convention complex, 5 minutes from the Real Madrid Sports Complex, and around 7 minutes from the new Madrid Barajas International Airport.

Hotel101-Madrid will feature approximately 736 rooms, making it the first Hotel101 development in Europe. Guests can enjoy an array of amenities, including an All Day Dining restaurant, a Business Center, a Swimming Pool, and a Fitness Gym. Additionally, there will be commercial space for a 24-hour convenience store.

With these features, Hotel101-Madrid is poised to become one of the top 5 largest hotels in Madrid.

This venture marks the first time a homegrown Filipino hotel chain will enter the Spanish market. DoubleDragon envisions Hotel101 becoming a world-class brand, creating job opportunities for Filipinos both in the Philippines and abroad, and instilling pride in Filipinos worldwide wherever Hotel101 operates.

The Hotel101-Madrid project is expected to generate robust condotel sales revenue of about €143.3 million (₱8.8 billion), driven by the high demand for real estate investments in Madrid, especially due to the residency opportunities in Spain for foreign investors.
